I got this book and left it on the shelf, unopened for two weeks. Yesterday picked it up and couldn't put it down. This is truly a magnificent publication, one that deserves to be in your library, wether or not a JSS fan. Note well though, no colour images, no watercolours or oils, just masterpieces in charcoal. And 5 stars for me aren't enough. Want to study portraiture...
